Fundraiser at Killiney Castle...
The night in aid of Grá with Ryan Tubridy and guests was a great success. We would like to say a huge Thank You to Ryan Tubridy who gave so much of his time and support. Also, a big thank you to his guests, Dave Fanning, Gráinne Seoige, and Lorraine Keane for giving of their time. Thank you also to Eithne Fitzpatrick and all the staff at the Hotel for their incredible hospitality and support on the night.

Women's Support Group
On Thursday 24th January 2008 we had our first day in the Grá House for women who have experienced or are experiencing addiction within the family or with a friend. The day started at 12.30pm with mass in the House celebrated by Fr.Robert. Afterwards there was a time to sit and talk with other 'friends' who are experiencing the same suffering. The ladies all brought something for lunch so there was a mini feast after the mass.
We hope that this will be the first of many gatherings that will bring support to all who attend no matter what their situation. If you know of anyone who could use this time of prayer and conversation, please invite them or even better, bring them with you.

Grá House Opening... an amazing day!
The official opening of the Grá House took place down in the House in Rathdrum on Saturday the 27th October, 2007.
The day started with the Celebration of the Eucharist in the House at 1pm, followed by food and refreshments. More than 80 people attended the mass and reception on the day! It was really a very special day for Grá to see so many people come out to support us on a Bank holiday weekend!
There are so many people we would like to thank for their help over the last year especially since moving into the house. A very special thanks to Frs Jim, Pádraig and Eamann who con-celebrated with Fr.Robert on the day! Also, a huge thanks to all those who supported us by their presence on the day and celebrating in the Eucharist in the house. Thank you also to all those who passed on their best wishes as they were unable to attend the opening.
The house is able to operate at present because of your support both financially and in prayer ... for this we are so grateful ! You all now know where the house is so please tell those who you know about it and always remember that you are very welcome down at any time.
Would You Believe
The TV program, 'Would You Believe' were down filming at the house for a week in September 2008. They will be presenting a program about GRÁ in the coming months, so please stay tuned for the date and time of the program on RTE television.

Fundraiser for Grá

The First Chick

New Residents 2007 !
The House is now operational and has now got two lads living and working in it. Their names are Gianluca and Craig.

After years of hard work Grá has finally got Charitable Status.

THE DAY ...
Robert's Ordination - 9th July, 2006 at Pro-Cathedral, Dublin
On the 9th July, 2006, Robert was ordained to the Priesthood at the Pro-Cathedral in Dublin. He was ordained for the Archdiocese of Dublin and has been assigned to Sandyford parish.
Registration
On the 13th July, 2006, Grá got registered as a Limited Company.
Clean up at the House
We had our first combined cleanup and "family gathering" at the house on the weekend of the 11th/12th of December 2005. The kitchen and reception/common rooms were cleaned and are now in working order. To see some of the photos of the weekend go to Past Events page.
