God grant him the strenght to continue his programme, and succede this time, which is his second attempt. Ian will be 30 in March PG. He has come a long way, on a path that was heartbreaking to to watch. With God's help, he will see the light. Thank God for the strength he has giving me and my husband throughout this dreadful ordeal. Without His help I would not have set up the support group for other family's who are in the same suitation as ourselves. As a group, we gain, and give,hope to each other. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sacred Heart of Jesus, Saint Michael, our Blessed Mother Mary, I place Ian in your care, and all my trust in you. Amen. Remember Ian ? he is desperate for an operation but sadly there are no surgeons in England who can perform the operation, it was proposed at one time that they may have been able to have done a link up with the surgeon in America but this now not possible, Ian is still struggling with his breathing etc; so once again needs your prayers. His mother feels that it was the prayers from a prayerwheel and prayers from other friends that brought Ian back from the brink of death and has helped him live. ( Quite a while back Ian's mother found him lifeless in the armchair suffering from a lung condtion and he was pronounced dead on his way to hospital he then was in a coma with very little hope of recovery . Thanks to God and prayers of all our friends he woke from the coma.)
Ian was in the Cenacolo and overcame his addiction to drugs and even through all his difficulties he has remained drug free.Thanks be to God.

Peter Lambert who is in his early forties is married with three children.
Peter has been suffering from a brain tumour for, I think, the last 18 months to two years and has very recently been told that he has only weeks to live. He is not a Catholic but has been to Medjugorje and is planning on another trip within the next 7/10 days. He and his family are in a desperate situation and I would ask that you put him in your prayers and those of all the people worldwide with whom you are in regular email contact and who are regularly praying for such causes.

As my older brother (by one year) he was my protector when we were in the orphanages and he, ever since, has been bitter and angry about how our mother abandoned us. In fact he refuses to speak to her. Despite this, he is a really nice man but he is having a really tough time financially at the moment, to the point of feeling suicidal. He hasn't been inside a church for 40 years except for weddings, christianings and funerals, and he tended to be slightly mocking of my Christian beliefs (I'm sure we have all experienced that). He must be really desperate because ,out of the blue, he suddenly asked me to prayer for him. I want him to be lifted up in prayer.... he really needs this.

For a miracle
A friend of mine's son had surgery this morning and it did not go well. He is in his 20's and a music teacher. He had a tumor wrapped around three bones and nerves in his ear. Praise God it was not cancer but he may lose his hearing in that ear and he has already lost 60% hearing in his "good" ear. He is very depressed and we need to pray for a miracle as they will not know if he will have any hearing in his ear in the future. We ask for God's mercy and love and Mary's mantle to protect Andy and his family as they go through these trials.

Dear friends,
I have just had a request from my dear friend in Ireland who is very upest and dearly concerned over Lorna ( remember not so long ago I asked for prayers for Lorna ) Lorna is a beautiful young mother who is suffering from M.S. she has a husband and two beautiful little boys. She is very brave and is trying so hard but this morning she had to again go to the hospital for a brain scan and her mother who is a dear friend of mine has asked for your prayer especially for Lorna. But I think they all need prayer. My friend has great Faith and has asked us to pray for her lovely daughter.
Also remember my niece Gail whom you prayed for , now her husband Collin has been taken ill and was for a little while paralysed from the neck down, the doctors suspect a problem with the heart, please add him to your prayers. My family have been through a lot this year, but all of these trials and tribulations has actually increased the Faith we have in the Lord. ( God Is so good )

A very dear friend who has become a second daughter and is the living example of what a Christian women and mother should be is in need of our prayers. She has survived the fourth stage of breast cancer through a miracle that the doctors can not explain. Her daughter now 20 has cancer and is pregnant with her second child. Just received a phone call from my daughter Nadia, telling me about her co-worker, who last week had an operation but all is coming wrong - Marceline has told her that she is in emergency and felt it like being in a horror film ! On Saturday 10th May there was a tradgic traffic accident involving the young girls from the Community Cenacolo travelling from France to Italy. Two are dead and one critically injured.

My husband Michael is going in hospital on Wednesday for Cataract Surgery. He is very apprehensive about the whole ordeal as he's had bad experiences in hospitals over the years. My prayer request is that he has peace on the day and a successful operation.
Also our friend Brian McIvor has a badly infected lung. He is on two lots of antibiotics and in pain. My prayer request for him is a complete healing.

update on my friend Margaret, she has had her operation, a hysterectomy and part of her stomach to remove the cancer one week ago, she is an inspiration. She is recovering well and thanks us all for our prayers, she is coping well, and can feel our prayers are helping her.

Will you please continue to pray for my friend Bernadette, She was seriously ill and almost died through septecaemia, she is recovering well, through our prayers I believe, but, she keeps getting infections, and is very sick when this happens, she has been fine for two days, and is frightened in case she gets another infection.
Bernadette couldn't move any part of her body two months ago, she is now walking with sticks and is much stronger, thank you for your prayers.

The Lord has blessed him with many more years than the doctors and we have been together 40 years and through ilness and alcoholism that marriage has been greatly tested. My brother
I am asking for a prayer request for my brother Malcom who was operated on yesterday and is in the ICU. He had a growth in the throat and they will send it for biopsy (not sure of the spelling) to check if it is cancerous.
I gave my sister-in-law the beautiful chapter that Sara sent for my cousin Edna, so that she could pray for him as a Novena, because my brother cannot speak at the moment he is in pain. I will update you on the progress.

thank you for sending out this prayer request for our precious Luke. It is so hard to believe that this poor young man has suffered so much since the first seconds of his birth. He was born without a tube from his throat to the stomach so he went through countless operations for that over his years (I think he had 8 operations in the first year of his life) .... and now he has the brain tumour problems and has to face a second brain operation in two weeks time.

Urgent prayers are needed for a young mother of four, Karen, suffering from a mysterious virus that has left her in a coma and gangrened one of her legs. Her mother is sick and cannot cope with her grandchildren, so please pray for her too and for the young mother's husband.

He needs prayers very badly. He is in Intensive Care at Children's Memorial Hospital right now after having a 90 min. seizure and has not come to yet. He has been out since last Tuesday. This is not an induced coma either. Just drugs to keep him from seizing. Because this is so rare, they are trying experimental drugs on him which leave him very drugged up.
If you know of any prayer groups please pass this on to them. We are praying for a miracle.

We had a new baby grand-son on 17th July. My son, Luke and our daughter-in-law Vicki have named in Charlie Michael. Unfortunately, 10 days ago he was rushed back into hospital with meningitis less than a week old. It has been a worrying time for us all, but I am pleased to say he has responded to treatment. He will be in hospital until Sunday at the earliest. We are hoping there will be no longer lasting effect on him. Please keep him in your prayers for us.

can you please pray for my husband's nephew, Luke Westaway.Luke underwent more brain surgery last week. We found out today that the aggressive cancerous tumour in Luke's brain that was previously removed has returned. Luke is now to undergo another round of chemo. This chemo will be for 12 months.

She will be operated on anytime because a small mass is exerting pressure in her brain.

Her heart rate was so high they had to stop the surgery before it was completed and she has not awakened after two days. Please lift this FAMILY in prayer as they face the unknown.
