God grant him the strenght to continue his programme, and succede this time, which is his second attempt. Ian will be 30 in March PG. He has come a long way, on a path that was heartbreaking to to watch. With God's help, he will see the light. Thank God for the strength he has giving me and my husband throughout this dreadful ordeal. Without His help I would not have set up the support group for other family's who are in the same suitation as ourselves. As a group, we gain, and give,hope to each other. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sacred Heart of Jesus, Saint Michael, our Blessed Mother Mary, I place Ian in your care, and all my trust in you. Amen. Remember Ian ? he is desperate for an operation but sadly there are no surgeons in England who can perform the operation, it was proposed at one time that they may have been able to have done a link up with the surgeon in America but this now not possible, Ian is still struggling with his breathing etc; so once again needs your prayers. His mother feels that it was the prayers from a prayerwheel and prayers from other friends that brought Ian back from the brink of death and has helped him live. ( Quite a while back Ian's mother found him lifeless in the armchair suffering from a lung condtion and he was pronounced dead on his way to hospital he then was in a coma with very little hope of recovery . Thanks to God and prayers of all our friends he woke from the coma.) Ian was in the Cenacolo and overcame his addiction to drugs and even through all his difficulties he has remained drug free.Thanks be to God.

For a miracle
A friend of mine's son had surgery this morning and it did not go well. He is in his 20's and a music teacher. He had a tumor wrapped around three bones and nerves in his ear. Praise God it was not cancer but he may lose his hearing in that ear and he has already lost 60% hearing in his "good" ear. He is very depressed and we need to pray for a miracle as they will not know if he will have any hearing in his ear in the future. We ask for God's mercy and love and Mary's mantle to protect Andy and his family as they go through these trials.

Dear friends, I have just had a request from my dear friend in Ireland who is very upest and dearly concerned over Lorna ( remember not so long ago I asked for prayers for Lorna ) Lorna is a beautiful young mother who is suffering from M.S. she has a husband and two beautiful little boys. She is very brave and is trying so hard but this morning she had to again go to the hospital for a brain scan and her mother who is a dear friend of mine has asked for your prayer especially for Lorna. Just received a phone call from my daughter Nadia, telling me about her co-worker, who last week had an operation but all is coming wrong - Marceline has told her that she is in emergency and felt it like being in a horror film ! He had a growth in the throat and they will send it for biopsy (not sure of the spelling) to check if it is cancerous. I gave my sister-in-law the beautiful chapter that Sara sent for my cousin Edna, so that she could pray for him as a Novena, because my brother cannot speak at the moment he is in pain. thank you for sending out this prayer request for our precious Luke. It is so hard to believe that this poor young man has suffered so much since the first seconds of his birth. He was born without a tube from his throat to the stomach so he went through countless operations for that over his years (I think he had 8 operations in the first year of his life) .... and now he has the brain tumour problems and has to face a second brain operation in two weeks time.

We had a new baby grand-son on 17th July. My son, Luke and our daughter-in-law Vicki have named in Charlie Michael. Unfortunately, 10 days ago he was rushed back into hospital with meningitis less than a week old. It has been a worrying time for us all, but I am pleased to say he has responded to treatment. He will be in hospital until Sunday at the earliest. We are hoping there will be no longer lasting effect on him. Please keep him in your prayers for us.

I have a neighbor who went through a lot of turmoil, but he remains the strong father and husband against all odds, of landslides, that partially destroyed his house.A few days ago, his face was swollen on one side, he told me, the doctors found a tumor in his sinuses and partially in his brain.Chemo will begin tomorrow. I am writing now to let you know that the tumour has been determined as 'superficial' and 'benign' two word that are beautiful when put before 'brain tumour Yesterday her neurosurgeon, with great confidence, operated on Helen and believes that he is 99% sure that he has removed all of the tumour, and that early indications confirm his diagnosis of 'benign' All who love Helen thank God for this outcome and bless Craing Hall, for his skill and dedication. Just a quick update and a chance for you to share some FANTASTIC news with the rest of the prayer wheel. My Aunt went for her scan yesterday afternoon to find out how bad the cancer was and after a full scan they couldn't find anything.... not even the loose strands that caused all the concern in the 1st place. The docs were not expecting to find nothing but as a precaution as there were cancerous tissues present before Christmas she will have a couple of sessions of Chemo just to flush out anything that maybe hiding. Our prayers have been answered, please convey my heartfelt gratitiude to all who kept us in their prayers. God's will has been done...... Thanks Stuart

Mary was a faithful supporter of Cenacolo. She gave dedicated, regular prayers and devotion and was a regular at our Holy hour before she returned to live in Ireland three years ago. A little angel
I'm writing to annouce that little Pheobe, my little premature grandaughter, went to Heaven to join the other Special Little Angels. She passed from this world to the Heavenly one last week between Tuesday and Wenesday night after her little kidney failed to function. The tubes were removed at one point and my son and the mum were able to finally hold her, as before they couldn't. She went peacefully while being cuddled by mum and dad. United in death. Thank you for all your prayers said for her, I'm sure little Pheobe appreciated them too while still with us, and even now. Love in Christ, Maria

Dear Friends After a long hard battle Lynne my beautiful niece passed away peacefully today at 12.45pm. Thank you for all of your support and prayers especially those of you who have been on this journey with me.. Although Lynne didn’t regain fully conscious she put her hands up as if praying and muttered father. The family sent for a priest and after the last rites Lynne fell into a peaceful sleep and remained that way until she died. This had to be the hand of God, so once again I thank you for all of your prayer as I am in no doubt that she received the Graces we all prayed for. God Bless everyone . Praying for a miracle
Our nephew, Sean returned from Afganistan this week. We prayed every day to Our Lady and to his Guardian Angel to keep him safe and return him home to his mother. Our prayers were answered and Sean, who saw much death and horrific injury amongst his young comrades,was spared. Sadly, he was attacked and beaten in a pub and is now in intensive care. Our son Sam is a wonderful young man who is 8 years old. He will be 9 in January. He is going into the 3rd grade in Reynoldsburg , Ohio . Sam had been having some pain in his right knee most of this summer (2009). As the pain increased we realized that something might be wrong and we made an appointment for him to see an Orthopedist on 8/10/09. At this doctors appointment an X-ray was done of Sam's leg/knee and it showed that there was a mass that the doctor believed to be cancerous. Samuel went into the hospital just a few days later for a series of tests. He received a cat scan, MRI, and also a full body scan. Our family met with the pediatric oncologist the following day and Samuel was diagnosed with a type of cancer called Osteosarcoma (stage 4). The cancer is in his right knee and it has also spread to both of his lungs. This is an aggressive type of cancer and it will be treated with aggressive forms of chemo. We are asking everyone to please lift up our little boy Samuel Gordon Bish in prayer. We pray for healing!! We serve a mighty God and we know that HE can heal Sam if that is his will for Sam's life. Please be prayer warriors along with our family as Sam starts this very difficult journey in his young life.

Dear friends My grandson Jack has just called round to tell me that his best friend Mitchell, (15) has found out today that he has lung cancer, Mitchell found a lump on his leg a while ago, and only recently was diagnosed as cancer, he has had lots of treatment, and the lump has shrunk considerably. This new diagnosis has knocked Mitchell and his family back as you will imagine. Throughout his treatment Mitchell has been really amazing and positive. My grandson Jack is upset for him, I told him I will ask for prayers on our wheel. Jack has also been an inspiration to his friend and myself, visiting him often and giving him hope and encouragement. Not bad for a fifteen year old. Please will you keep Mitchell and his family in prayer. I am going to a gathering of the relics of St Therese on Sunday, also on pilgrimage in Walsingham Friday to Sunday, will remember all your intentions and your families in prayer. Spoke with Mary McNally last night and the Docs have confirmed that Tommy is 95% out of coma and will now undertake a period of rehabilitation. One of the nurses said he was a miracle case and that Mary would be welcome on the ward anytime!! A totally unbelievable turnaround for the McNally family and the prayers have been answered so far. A little girl in need of prayers
Could you please pray for my 2nd cousin, Olivia Jane. Olivia was born in February 2009 and has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on the kidney. She is being operated on today. They originally thought that Olivia would need to be on chemo for at least two months before the operation. But the doctors can't leave the operation any longer as Olivia's calcium levels are far too high and worried that it might effect the other kidney. So it's worrying times here for us all. I recently found out my older brother in America has been diagnosed with Malta-Lympho. My sister said it is Hodgkins Lymphona. He is in tremendous pain and is awaiting more tests. On Friday I received a phone call from our friends in Sydney saying my dear friend Marysia was rushed to hospital on Friday with extreme pain. They gave her a cat scan and found a large mass on her ovarie. She had a ultra sound yesterday and doctors suspect it is cancer. She is being sent to a different hospital with doctors who specialise in gyneocology and will see an oncologist. She is only 52 and is like a little sister to me. Please pray for them both as they are very dear to me. I thank all the prayer warriors for opening heavens gates with there prayers. May God bless you with His loving heart. Can you please put Kathleen Scaife on the prayer wheel. Kathleen has been in the hospital for 1 month undergoing tests, since she collapsed and was unable to walk for some time. The pace maker is not kicking in when it should, so her brain is not getting the correct signals, and has got severe vertigo. She has been waiting weeks to be transferred to the Neurology ward in another hospital but unfortunately there are no beds available. Now Kathleen is becoming extremely upset as she has now been transferred to an isolation ward undergoing tests, so does not know when she will be transferred. Blessings Karen

Back in September I received word that my sister was once again diagnosed with cancer. She started with breast cancer since in her 20's, and has battled different cancers until now. I guess you could say she has fought the good fight as she is now 61, and has never lost her faith. In November I flew over to spend some time with her because at that time we didn't know if we were going to loose her and it had been 12 years since my last visit. She is terminal and we won't know when she will go but I believe it is soon. I thank the good Lord I was able to spend the time with her, but all and all it has been very traumatic. If I lived closer I could visit regularly and the impact would be lessened. I speak to her once a week. She believes it's very soon and feels she still needs to plan her funeral. I want her to have peace but I think all this organizing has made her live longer. She wants it all perfect for her husband and children before she goes. About a week ago her oldest daughter Stephanie (who is a nurse) was found to have a large tumour on the thyroid. On Friday she will have a biopsy done to see if it is cancerous. Stephanie's son who is 11 was also feeling very tired and after having a blood test which found his white blood cell count very low. He is on strong antibiotics and the family is hoping it isn't luekemia. My sister said how much more can I take. I told her to remain faithful as God has his purpose and there is a reason for this to happen. We will never know the answer but all we can do is pray. A dear friend of mine said we must praise Him at times like this as this keeps the enemy away. All I can do is share my faith with my family in America and pray for them. One amazing thing which has happened is that my niece Stephanie and her son William want to go back to church. William recently said Mom I want to make my Confirmation. God does work in mysterious ways. Can they please be added to the prayer circle. My sister is Bellina. Her daughter is Stephanie. Stephanies son is William.
